    • Our Mission

Pacelli educates students in the Catholic intellectual tradition, providing a lifelong foundation grounded in Christ’s love, faith in God, service to community, and academic achievement that inspires our students to
       “
      Be More.”

    • Our Vision

By cultivating in our students higher-order thinking skills within a Catholic educational community, Pacelli will consistently graduate students who will excel in their vocations and become leaders in service to God and to their community.

  • Pacelli's Core Values

    • Educate in Faith
    • Honor Human Dignity
    • Create Community
    • Achieve Excellence
    • Improve Continually
    Educate in Faith
    • Pacelli believes that a Catholic education addresses the development of the whole person through spiritual and academic formation based on Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium.

    Honor Human Dignity
    • Pacelli treats each individual with dignity, compassion, and respect, recognizing the inherent and immeasurable worth and dignity of every person having been created in the image and likeness of God.  Pacelli reflects the belief that students need to follow God’s plan for their lives by growing in personal responsibility and mutual respect among students, families, and staff.

    Create Community
    • Pacelli fosters a culture of openness and collegiality, instilling in students, families, and staff a sense of community at school and cultivating a sense of mission and purpose as citizens of the larger community and world.

    Achieve Excellence
    • Pacelli strives for intellectual and spiritual growth in all students to prepare and develop each one to reach his or her God-given potential and to be successful at life.

    Improve Continually
    • Pacelli uses evaluation, evolution, and innovation as a means to improve the education we provide and the community in which it is provided.

  • At Pacelli, we provide an educational experience that is individualized and personalized. We challenge our students to seek and achieve intellectual and spiritual growth. We foster the development of higher-order thinking skills – application, analysis, synthesis, and creation – to create thinking, articulate students eager for deeper learning and true understanding.   We honor human dignity and see the potential in everyone to not only better themselves but to better our world.   We believe that every student can be inspired to  Be More.

  • What it means to Be More
    What it means to
    Be More
"Be More" exemplifies what parents seek for their children and what Christ calls us to be. Be More means that we will strive each day to become a better version of ourselves, not only so that we may fully experience the world around us but fully participate in it as well.
  • Pacelli's Three Pillars of Excellence

    • Faith

      • Weekly all-school Mass celebrations.

      • Yearlong Sacramental preparations.

      • Helping each student find the gifts God has given to them to share with others.

      • Faith integrated into each subject along with daily religion classes.

      • Weekly opportunities to pray the rosary.

      • Focusing on growing our relationship with God and understanding the many ways he shows love for us.

      • School-wide opportunities for Stations of the Cross, Reconciliation, and Eucharistic Adoration.

      • Focus on discovering God's purpose for us and becoming life-long stewards of God's love.

    • Scholarship

      • Small class sizes and flexible grouping to teach meet students where they're at.

      • 1:1 Chromebook Laptops for grades 4-12 and Chromebook Tablets for grades K-3.

      • Caring, dedicated, and qualified teachers who teach students with an individualized approach.

      • Great parent to teacher communication so you're always up to date on your student's progress and needs.

      • Enrichment Programs to challenge and grow students outside of the classroom.

      • Teaching to the Minnesota State standards so your students are prepared for standardized tests and college entrance exams.

      • Rigorous Classes and PSEO opportunities.

    • Service

We want to create loving and caring servants of Christ in all of our students by showing them how they can help each other, those in their community, and those in the world.

      • Visits to and singing at community nursing homes.

      • Collecting money, food, and other materials for charitable organizations & those in need.

      • Making cards for soldiers overseas.

      • Packing thousands of meals for families for part of Feed My Starving Children.

      • Volunteering to read each week to elementary students.

      • Making Christmas baskets for the Adopt-a-Family Program

      • Regular fundraising events school-wide supporting various  community and worldwide needs.

    • Our Catholic Identity

Our Pacelli family shares a strong Catholic faith and identity. All students attend weekly Mass, prepare for receiving Sacraments, learn about the life and works of Christ, learn how God loves them, and how to share that love with others.
While we value and are proud of our Catholic foundation, you do not have to be Catholic to attend Pacelli, just as you don't have to be Catholic to practice love, charity, kindness, and other qualities of good character that we grow and develop in every child who walks through our doors.

    • How Our Faith is Incorporated at School:

      • Grades take turns organizing and running different parts of Mass.
        • This teaches leadership skills as well as an appreciation and more profound knowledge of the Mass itself.
      • Students are given preparation at the correct ages for Sacraments like Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion.
        • This helps prepare them for their spiritual life journey and creates a sense of community amongst their classmates.
      • Consistent and yearlong focus on service.
        • We want to graduate caring and service-minded people who care about their communities and each other.
        • Volunteers, fundraising, and service projects are always available for our students to make a difference.
  • We chose Pacelli because we were new to town and didn't have any other childcare options. We stayed with Pacelli because the childcare was exceptional and we loved the Christian values that were being reinforced with our children. We are still with Pacelli because of the outstanding education, the teacher attentiveness, and the sense of family; we are so proud to be part of this amazing community.-Jeremiah & Sarah Johnson, Pacelli Parents

    • Circle of Grace Curriculum:

Another important part of developing a healthy and safe environment for all of our students at Pacelli is the Circle of Grace curriculum taught each fall to our students. This is a Diocese sanctioned program developed by the Archdiocese of Omaha in response to Article 12 of the  Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. It serves the dual purpose of educating and forming youth about the value of positive relationships with God and others.

"Through the Circle of Grace program, adults assist children and youth to recognize that each of us lives within a Circle of Grace that holds our very essence in body, mind, heart, soul, and sexuality. Through the Circle of Grace program, children and youth are taught to identify and maintain appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual and sexual boundaries; recognize when boundary violations are about to occur; and demonstrate how to take action when boundaries are threatened or violated.

Circle of Grace is clinically sound and grounded in the Catholic tradition. Its strong parent component means parents can actively participate in their children’s education and formation."

You can read more about the program on the Diocese of Winona-Rochester's website here.
