Austin area Third graders visited three different farms in the Austin area family farms today. They saw a number of different animals including pigs, cows, chickens, llamas, turkeys, sheep, ducks, and geese. The learned how a cow is milked, and what feed each of the different animals eat. They also learned more about 4H and how to grow a vegetable garden.
The High School Biology class had the opportunity to learn the importance of bees have on the overall environment and how to extract honey today on their field trip. Thank you for the information shared with our students by Mr. Klankowski
