Yes! - Pacelli students are able to take the bus to school.
No!
While many of our students are, you do not have to be of the Catholic faith to attend Pacelli Catholic Schools.
While you don't have to be Catholic to attend, Pacelli is a faith based school and all students, regardless of religious tradition, must attend weekly school Masses. The level of participation may vary for different people, but everyone who is a student of Pacelli should participate with reverent presence.
All students at Pacelli are also expected to demonstrate Christian and ethical behavior by making positive contributions to the school. Students are expected to comply with school policies and be respectful of individual students, staff and teachers.
Many parents have to be at work before school starts in the morning or stay until after school hours in the afternoon. Pacelli offers great felxible, and affordable childcare options right on our school campus!
Shamrock Zone offers childcare from 6:30am-6:00pm. We have dropoff child care rates for those who don't have a set schedule as well as monthly contracted rates for those who know what dates and times they'll need a month in advance. Our dedicated staff will walk your child to and from Shamrock Zone to their classes at the correct time. They also offer breakfast and snacks!
Pacelli offers many opportunites for both young men and women to participate in fall, winter, and spring sports. Pacelli has sports that we offer on our own and we also partner with Lyle Public Schools as well as Austin Public Schools so that no sport is off limit to our students. On our Sports Page we have a list of athetic opportunities for our students. If you don't see a sport that your student would like to participate in please reach out to the office. We have a great relationship with our friends at Austin Public Schools and work with them to set up opportunities for our students to participate on their sports teams.
Pacelli values small class sizes so we can give your child individualized attention and meet them where they're at in their learning.
